Bio

Hi! I am Marc.
I am a PhD candidate in the Visual Computing & Artificial Intelligence Lab since 2023.
I received my Master's (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). For my Master's Thesis, I worked on learning to predict robust correspondences for camera pose estimation. In 2018, I completed my Bachelor's (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering at the Polytechnical University of Catalonia (UPC). I also took part in the Erasmus mobility program, in which I studied at the University of Edinburgh.

Animating the Uncaptured: Humanoid Mesh Animation with Video Diffusion Models
Marc Benedí San Millán, Angela Dai, Matthias Nießner
ICLR 2026
Animating the Uncaptured (AtU) generates 4D humanoid animations from text prompts, without requiring training on limited motion capture data. Instead, it leverages the strong generalized motion priors of video diffusion models, transferring motion to the 3D mesh using an SMPL-based deformation proxy.
